Bethany Closet is the community outreach arm of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church. Through our partnerships with our Evangelism Ministry, private donors and community organizations, we assist members of our local neighborhood, city and state.
This ministry provides uniforms and school supplies for Elementary Schools in the Edgewood School District. We also provide assistance with Food, Clothing and Household Items for families in need. Our latest initiative, in conjunction with the City of San Antonio, is providing Care Packages for homeless men and women throughout District 6 and the Downtown San Antonio Areas. We are a Faith Base partner with the Child Protective Services and regularly provide necessities for children and families in transition. The Word of God says, Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God. Proverbs 14:31 |
